Stainless Steel (Low Temperature Black Chrome Treatment) Hex Nut - Type 1
This is a stainless steel hex nut with a high corrosion-resistant, matte black "low-temperature black chrome treatment" applied as a thin film on the surface, conforming to JIS supplementary standard type 1 (single-sided). The non-glossy black surface is ideal for optical devices where diffuse reflection prevention is required. It has corrosion resistance several tens of times greater than black dyeing. The low-temperature black chrome treatment offers excellent wear resistance, light-selective absorption, and thermal absorption, leading to increased demand in industries such as semiconductors, liquid crystal, and optical technology-related equipment. It is compliant with EU-RoHS2. Applications include semiconductor and liquid crystal manufacturing equipment, optical inspection equipment, top covers and diaphragm parts of high-end single-lens reflex digital cameras, and precision drive components such as LM guides and gears. Standard film thickness: 3 to 12 μm. Since there is no need to apply oil, it can be used in clean rooms.
